Accommodation
We have made arrangements with three hotels at special conference rates. Ortaköy Princess Hotel and La Maison are both located in the historical Ortaköy district, which is one of the nicest neighborhoods on the European side of Istanbul right under the Bosphorus Bridge, full of fish restaurants, cafés, tea houses, bars, small shops, and a local crafts bazaar. We managed to reserve 15 rooms at La
Masion, which is a small boutique hotel, and 60 more at Ortaköy
Princess, which is a standart 5 star hotel. Together they will serve as
the main conference hotels.
Additionaly, we have also made an
arrangement with
Maslak Sheraton, which is located in the Maslak
district, a business center not far away from Boğaziçi University
campus.
Participants are requested to contact
the hotels directly and make their reservations personally.

Accommodation for PhD Students We have arranged for a limited number of low budget rooms for Ph.D. students in two locations near Bogazici University. One of them is the training hotel of a vocational school, and the other is the guesthouse of a nearby university. The rates are: € 30 for single room and € 40 for double room. The rooms will be reserved on a first-come-first-served basis. Cancellations are accepted free of charge until October 20, 2009. Any cancellation made after this date will incur the cost of three nights. Ph.D. students interested in accommodation booking should fill in and send the form below (alternatively, they can download the reservation form, fill it in and and email it to asset2009@boun.edu.tr).
